Assignments....
More on the Presidential Debate assignment. I really don't think one should be forced to express their political views or opinions if they do not wish to do so. Politics, like religion is a personal choice. If a person chooses to keep their view to themselves then that is their choice. Whether it is an assignment or not. I chose this, so therefore I chose a bad grade. This might not be the best choice in general, but for my personal beliefs, this choice, good or bad, outweighed the consequences.

I do agree with you. We shouldn't be forced to show our political views, but isn't just as similar as this blog? You're expressing your views here. Besides, before the assignment, did you ever think you would watch a presidential debate? I know that I didn't. And I do have to admit that it did have an effect on me. Honestly, I am not very pleased with some of the assignments, but all my college friends say that there are going to be a lot of things in college including assignments and professors that we will not like, and in order to do well, we need to suck it up and do the work. I left a novel, didn't I? Sorry. Just hang in there. We are all in the same boat.

As far as the assignment is concerned, ugh, but this year is an important year politically. I am interested in the election and the debates more so than I have ever been, probably because this is first year voting. I agree on your opinion about the assignment becuase if someone from this class knew who I was voting for then they may not talk to me because of their own beliefs.
